Uniqlo is Coming to Canada

If you like trendy, affordable fashion, then I have good news for you: Uniqlo is coming to Canada!

Uniqlo is a Japanese retail giant, and offers men's, women's and kid's/baby clothing at shockingly affordable prices.

You won't find high-end designer craftsmanship here - think more like H&M and Forever 21. This is a great shop for $30 skinny jeans, fleeting trends that you don't want to spend too much money on, and a youthful (and slim) fit.

I was recently in the Fifth Avenue location in NYC and it is bright, colourful and totally hip. It has a fast-paced energy and will appeal to a young and urban crowd. That explains why Yorkdale Mall in Toronto is their first slated location in Canada (sometime in 2016).

They've got some cool apps on their website if you're into funky recipes, hair styling, photos and calendars. I predict a great reception when they come to Toronto, especially with the under-30 crowd.
