Downtown Burlington's annual Red Bag Sale kicks off tomorrow and - as always - you won't be disappointed by the amazing deals & special offers happening in our beautiful downtown core.
If you think Boxing Day is a good time to buy, then consider this event the OTHER Boxing Day. Just like after Christmas holidays, retailers have to start making room for new (Fall) items, which means you get some stellar deals on their current inventory. And with the weather this week, goodness knows you still need a LOT of summer clothes & accessories, no?
Here's what I'll be scooping up at Joelle's on Brant Street. I've been eyeing these tops & earrings for months, but on account of a worthy promise I made my husband, I was being too good with my clothing budget to splurge. Of course with newly marked-down Red Bag Sale prices - I can finally add these beauties to my closet - yay! With brands on sale like Charlotte Tarantola, Michael Kors, Ted Baker, Splendid, James Perse and more, you'll be SO glad you went. Did I mention the obvious advice to go early? Yeah. I can't stress that enough.
You'll also find great deals at your favourite shops like Centro Garden, Fairhome, Jeff's Guy Shop, A Different Drummer, Anise Apothecary, Mirella's, Pearl Street Fine Shoes, Saltridges & More.
Once you make a purchase, you'll be given a branded "Red Bag" to carry your goodies in. Walk around a little more with it - because if you're spotted by K-Lite FM on Saturday, you get a prize! You can also use this special Red Bag to score free drinks & desserts at great restaurants like Eatalia, The Rude Native, The Dickens, and SB Prime. So clearly you need to allow time in your plans to grab something to eat while you're shopping! Why pass up on free yumminess? While you're down there, check out the new Pier at the bottom of Brant Street. It's a great little walk out over Lake Ontario for some beautiful views.
The Red Bag Sale is just one of many reasons Downtown Burlington is hopping this summer. Be sure to check it out!
