I get asked this question all the time from mom-friends because even though we get a calendar at the beginning of the year, the fact that the one piece of paper the calendar is on gets lumped into a backpack with forty-five other pieces of paper all on the first day of school pretty much guarantees that it's going to go missing.
I never knew that back-to-school paperwork was going to involve cutting down more trees than a logging company. Can't we do this electronically yet people? I have to send litterless lunches but the school is allowed to harm the forests of Canada by sending me the same forms three times each?
Anyhoo...I digress. You asked When are PA Days and Holidays this year? PA Days are also known to many people as PD Days by the way.
In Halton, here is the schedule for all the days of No School! for the 2013 - 2014 School Year:
Friday October 11th, 2013 - PA Day
Monday October 14th, 2013 - Thanksgiving Holiday
Friday November 22nd, 2013 - PA Day
Friday December 20th, 2013 - PA Day
December 23rd, 2013 - January 3rd, 2014- Christmas Holidays
Friday January 31st, 2014 - PA Day
Monday February 17th, 2014 - Family Day Holiday
Friday March 7th, 2014 - PA Day (right before March Break!)
March 10th - 14th, 2014 - March Break
Friday April 18th, 2014 - Good Friday Holiday
Monday April 21st, 2014 - Easter Monday Holiday
Monday May 19th, 2014 - Victoria Day Holiday
Friday June 6th, 2014 - PA Day (Elementary Schools only)
